About the team
The Marketing team at Airwallex drives brand awareness and customer engagement through innovative and strategic campaigns. We work to communicate the value of our financial solutions, attract new customers, and strengthen relationships with existing ones. What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Director of Regional Marketing (B2B) to develop a winning strategy that brings Airwallex’s brand to life, communicates our differentiated position, and engages our users across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). You’ll be part of the ANZ leadership team and will act as the owner of demand generation across multiple channels including digital, offline, events, and content. You’ll act as a B2B Marketing all-rounder, capable of end-to-end strategic thinking and execution–from building our brand for the long-tem, to driving ongoing customer growth and retention. This will be a senior hire on the ANZ team and we’re looking for a resourceful, creative go-getter who is eager to help shape the next phase of Airwallex’s growth.
This role is based in Sydney.
Responsibilities:
Work cross functionally to further build a trusted and forward-thinking brand across Australia and New Zealand
Empower and mentor an ambitious team of Marketers by championing continuous improvement and operational excellence
Own Marketing strategy and planning, including the development of a comprehensive B2B Marketing approach across multiple channels to acquire and retain customers.
Drive scalable demand generation campaigns to deliver user growth via performance marketing, SEO, influencers, and more
Manage integrated marketing campaigns, including first-and third-party events, OOH advertising, and co-marketing with strategic partners
Oversee marquee local product launches in collaboration with Product Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and Regional Strategy teams
Surface and champion customer insights that enrich our understanding of our target audience, and craft a value proposition that resonates with key segments
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
At least 15+ years of Marketing experience, ideally with a focus on scaled B2B growth
A track record of integrated campaigns that drive both brand and business metrics
Experience leading a high performing marketing function focused on outcomes
Strong analytical skills, a data driven orientation, and uncompromising attention to detail
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both internally and externally
An ability to thrive under pressure, navigate ambiguity, and remain adaptable
An entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to get your hands dirty
Preferred qualifications:
Past fintech and startup experience is a plus
