How you can help make a better world of work

Culture Amp’s mission is to create a better world of work. So this opportunity to literally shape the world of work for Culture Amp employees in APAC is a pretty unique one. You’ll be the life and soul of our HQ in Melbourne but you will also manage the experience for our Campers in our Sydney office and remotely across APAC.

If you are someone who thrives on making the workplace a welcoming, engaging, and efficient environment. If you’re a proactive problem-solver, a people-person at heart, and have a knack for turning ideas into action, we want you!

Being in the office is critical to the success of this role so we are looking for someone who is happy to be in our Richmond-based office 5 days a week (8.30am-5pm).

What the role looks like:

  • Being the face of Culture Amp in Melbourne by welcoming ‘Campers’ (our employees), visitors and contractors to our Melbourne office
  • Organising events, lunches, celebrations and Camper connection moments each month - building rituals that create FOMO for our employees.
  • Creating engaging content and comms to share with Campers about upcoming events and announcements (we use Canva A LOT)
  • Contributing to the weekly and daily updates on our digital screens
  • Helping coordinate and execute any office moves
  • Coordinating deliveries and mail
  • Responding to global helpdesk queries with a friendly touch through our Jira ticketing system.
  • Building strong relationships with all office-related vendors, building management and partners
  • Managing quarterly budget spend
  • Keeping the office in tip top condition - project managing and overseeing all office works, repairs and maintenance, including coordinating with building management and insurance providers, as needed
  • Learning faster through feedback by regularly working with Campers and Leaders to get feedback, iterate and improve the experience
  • Doing the “boring but important bits” - regularly maintaining all office documents, process documentations and Camper Handbook / Confluence resources related to the office & workplace experience
  • Maintaining and communicating our emergency procedures, both physical and documented

You

  • Care deeply about employee experience and impact you can make on someone’s day and you always find a way to positively power through even the most tedious parts of the job
  • Like to get to know people - remembering pet’s name, favourite snacks and caring for the individuals coming in
  • Are highly detail-oriented and will keep your eyes focused on the specifics as much as you do the big pillars, because you know that details matter and drive impact.
  • The ability to juggle multiple requests, competing agendas, and random things that come up last minute. You can prioritise what needs your attention first, all while communicating with the team and your stakeholders. You treat challenges like puzzles to be solved.
  • Like coming up with new ideas and ways of doing things - always looking to improve the experience. You know what a 5 star experience looks like.
  • You have the facilitation experience to be able to conduct onboarding inductions for new starters in group sizes of ten and the facilities experience to effectively scope out new office spaces, oversee project plans and manage budget spend.
  • Superior communication skills. You are self-aware and find it easy to build rapport with people, and build trust with your stakeholders. People tend to gravitate towards you because of your humility, warmth and compassion.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Thrive in messy and ambiguous environments where the answer might not always be in front of you but you love figuring it out
  • A creative problem-solver, with notable resilience and resourcefulness. There’s no task or problem too big or small for you to handle.
  • Confident using Gmail, Google Drive & Slack (proficiency in Confluence is a plus!)
