About the Role
At Evergen, compliance is the backbone of our organisation which ties together all of our various departments. At most companies compliance is an afterthought, but at Evergen you are part of the main event!
As the Compliance Specialist, you will oversee and manage company compliance with industry standards, regulations, and laws, including ISO 27001, 14001, 45001, 9001. You will also design and implement workflows within the organisation to streamline compliance-related processes. In addition to this, you will:
Develop and maintain an incident reporting and resolution system
Manage procurement with a compliance-first approach
Act as Google Workspace Administrator, managing user access and security
Handle user access provisioning and de-provisioning
Oversee ISO certification management and renewal
Coordinate policy review and maintain governance documentation
Maintain Quality Management System documentation
Conduct compliance audits and implement corrective actions
Assist executives with event planning and travel
Plan and coordinate team catch-ups and activities
About You
Proven Operations experience in a dynamic software company
A business enabler, always the most helpful person in the room, making sure that your team shine
Rapid learner, quickly mastering new skills and concepts
Exceptional at juggling priorities and keeping everyone on track
Excellent communicator, with both internal and external stakeholders
Thrive in any challenge, confident in achieving success no matter the situation
