A Product Manager responsible for the execution of the product roadmap, with a deep technical understanding and how it translates to representing user needs. Reporting to our founder/CEO to join our Product team working across the entire product life cycle from ideation to go-to-market efforts. You will have operated in a hyper growth startup with experience building SaaS products from 0-1. You will also have a deep understanding of the key challenges engineers face and a firm grasp on design principles in prioritising key features and capabilities. Your superpower is how to bridge the gap between technical specifics and business needs effortlessly and turn high-level designs into real-world solutions. You thrive in challenging situations, and you appreciate the dynamics of a flexible, flat-structured work environment. You are quick to grasp the nuances and complexities of developing an AI product healthcare in both Australia and internationally.

What you'll do:

  • Execute on our product vision with founder/CEO:

    • Working across the entire product life cycle from ideation to go-to-market efforts

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and clinical experts, to define and execute on product vision.

    • Ensure that the product vision aligns with the company's overall mission and strategic objectives.

  • Aligning stakeholders to execute against our product roadmap:

    • Communicate the product roadmap effectively to internal stakeholders and lead team sprints/standups.

    • Build alignment across engineering, design, CX and sales by addressing concerns, gathering feedback, and incorporating input into the product roadmap.

  • Prioritising product features/upgrades and capabilities:

    • Work closely with engineering and design teams to prioritise features and capabilities based on user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.

    • Continuously reassess priorities based on evolving market dynamics, user feedback, and business goals.

  • Deeply understand user experience and customer needs:

    • Conduct extensive research to understand the needs, pain points, and workflows of clinicians who would be using the AI tools.

    • Utilise various methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights directly from users and into actionable requirements for product development.

  • Coach and mentor team members:

    • Establish clear channels for communication and information sharing to ensure that all team members have access to relevant insights and data.

    • Empower team members to make independent decisions by providing them with the necessary context, guidance, and autonomy pushing them to be there best.

What we'll look for:

  • You’ll have 3-5+ years of product experience - someone with true passion for the product craft in bringing a product purist’s mindset to everything they do,

  • A gun in shipping 0 to 1 products, working across the entire product life cycle from ideation to go-to-market efforts perhaps previously worked as a product engineer.

  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle, user experience and design principles.

  • You love getting into the nitty gritty details of complex projects and don’t let anything fall through the cracks and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Unafraid to get your hands dirty to solve a wide range of shifting challenges and priorities - you need to be comfortable wearing a few different hats.

  • Self-starting mindset with high degree of autonomy and ownership in task execution.

  • Passion to build in healthcare and leave a legacy for all the patients that Heidi graces but previous experience in healthcare is not essential.
