This role is responsible and accountable for driving and supporting the delivery of strategic outcomes for the Group Technology business.
Working alongside and providing support to the CTO, the primary purpose of this role is to support the Group Technology business achieve key strategic outcomes across areas of technology governance, technical and financial operational oversight, vendor engagement and leverage, and facilitation of capability improvement.
The role is also responsible for supporting the strategic planning process that underpins the development and iteration of the strategy and for the integration and cohesion of functional units within Group Technology.
You will be a strong communicator, technically knowledgeable and an excellent strategic influencer, facilitating communication and collaboration to help Group and Business Unit technology teams are strategically aligned, well informed, high performing and deliver results.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
Responsible for driving and supporting the Group Technology’s strategy
Supports the Group Technology team in the execution of the strategy along with supporting the Business Unit CTO’s adherence to Group Technology requirements
Identify and mitigate strategic risk
Embed and support a whole-of-business approach to driving execution with rigour and discipline
Advocate and communicate the Group Technology strategy to internal and external audiences Manager Strategic Support
Leadership, guidance, influence and supporting performance management of teams, providing clear direction and alignment
Understand market trends to ensure Iress continues to lead clients, users and the industry
Drive a culture of client focus, service excellence, collective team ownership of outcomes and organisational efficiency
Lead and support the delivery of marketing and thought leadership initiatives, including as a spokesperson where required, in collaboration with the communications & marketing team
Collation, preparation and reporting of relevant data and metrics to ensure adherence to policy and to support strategic governance
Provide support and ensure the focus of the Group CTO on relevant strategic matters
What you will bring:
Industry Focus: Strong knowledge of Technology organisational needs. Demonstrated experience in using relevant and modern technology data and metrics to drive strategic performance.
Strategy and Financial Acumen: Demonstrable experience in supporting and executing strategies to enable and accelerate the achievement of technology goals with first-class commercial acumen.
Stakeholder Management and Communication: Extensive experience influencing internally and externally. Hands-on experience in building and maintaining strategic relationships with third-party vendors and partners. Excellent and proven skills in written communications, with experience in facilitation and the ability to guide and align diverse stakeholders
