What's the role?

The Broker Marketing Specialist supports the broker network by providing the tools and resources needed to drive new leads and grow existing customer relationships. Sitting within the Broker Marketing Services team in Growth, this role collaborates with sales, product, and marketing teams to champion broker marketing needs. From creative asset requests to strategic marketing support, the Specialist helps brokers amplify their efforts and grow their businesses. Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills are essential to navigate diverse projects across social media, PR, brand, activations, and customer journeys. A resourceful, can-do attitude is key to delivering a world-class marketing service for brokers.

Job Description

  • Work hand in hand with sales team members to identify brokers needing additional marketing support and guide them through our Local Area Marketing Playbook to tap into their territory’s opportunities and execute marketing plans accordingly.
  • In collaboration with subject matter experts, be responsible for the execution of broker marketing requests spanning artwork, email & SMS, direct mail, social, Google Business Profiles, local activations etc.
  • In conjunction with Growth team colleagues, ensure brand and national media campaigns flow down into local marketing opportunities for efficiency, brand consistency and always-on local presence.
  • Assist with the tracking of ROI for local marketing activities to help arrive at key performance insights.
  • Work closely with state office admin and events team to help co-ordinate local events and activations.
  • Assist with key vendor management tasks, approvals and maintenance.
  • Assist with a range of other day-to-day tasks that arise from broker marketing requests.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a similar marketing, advertising, or agency role, preferably with channel marketing experience.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills working with a wide range of stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced ever-evolving work environment.
  • Can work collaboratively with other team members and proactively identify, understand, communicate, and act on current and future risks.
  • Have a strong attention to detail, with ability to independently see tasks and projects through to completion.
  • You’re a self-motivated go-getter who thrives on solving all shapes and sizes of marketing problems and opportunities.
  • You have a deep empathy with busy small business owners. Whether you’ve witnessed, been a part of, or just intuitively get what it takes to run a small business – you'll be able to relate to brokers and lean into their marketing support requests to help them grow their businesses.
  • You love working as part of a team, are a proactive and transparent communicator, and are equally capable of working autonomously to get the goods delivered.
