Are you an experienced RF Hardware Design Engineer? Would you like to use your skills to help build the next generation Wi-Fi chips that will enable a new generation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices?

As our RF Hardware Design Engineer with Morse Micro you will be based at Morse Micro Headquarters in Sydney, working with the team to develop new application reference designs. You will be experienced in electronics hardware development for RF devices and be able to create and commission new applications designs to meet customer needs.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Development of new applications reference designs
• Electronics hardware development and debug with emphasis on RF design
• Testing the RF performance of the existing designs and investigating performance improvements
• Bringing up new hardware designs and ensuring they meet the regulatory standards
• Assisting the other team members for system integration

Essential Skills & Requirements:

• BSc in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering
• 5-10 years relevant industry experience as an electronics engineer and RF
• Proficient with Altium or other PCB design software
• Experienced in full product development life cycle from requirement definition through to design, implementation, test, and validation
• Experience with wireless systems design
• Bench prototyping and debugging skills
• Ability to work in Linux
• Wireless systems bench testing with equipment such as vector signal generators, vector signal analysers and vector network analysers
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong technical documentation skills
