Are you a highly motivated and experienced Revenue and Sales operations person with a deep passion for the food and beverage industry? We have a sales team working hand-in-hand with our network of over 40,000 restaurants, cafes and bars across Australia to help them streamline their business. We need a revenue and sales operations manager to help our team engage with the right venues at the right time in the right way in order to sell our range of digital solutions, including consolidating their food and beverage purchasing via our digital platform, leveraging features like chat, one-click-bookkeeping or spend insights or benefiting from our market-leading rewards programme. You will play a pivotal role in optimising our venue go-to-market processes, driving revenue growth, and maximising operational efficiency across the venue go-to-market team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, data/analytical skills, and hands-on experience in sales operations within the SaaS industry.

At Ordermentum, our purpose is to create a more sustainable food and beverage industry, by helping venues and suppliers trade smarter. Since launching in 2014, we’ve grown a massive network of 40k of your favourite cafes, restaurants and bars (almost half the venues in the country!) ordering $1.5b+ a year from over 850 local, wholesale suppliers. In September 2023, we announced a new capital raise and our acquisition of the Foodbomb business to further extend our market-leading position.

What You'll Do:

  • Sales process optimisation: analyse and optimise the end-to-end sales process to increase efficiency and effectiveness; identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline workflows and improve sales productivity; develop and implement sales enablement tools, training programs, and resources to support the sales team; help us identify segments and behavioural triggers from our existing 40k venues to understand which venues to speak to, when and who should do it.
  • Revenue forecasting and analysis: Collaborate with finance and management teams to develop accurate revenue forecasts and sales projections; utilise data analytics and reporting tools to track key performance metrics, sales trends, and pipeline velocity; provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Sales technology management: Evaluate, implement, and administer sales technology stack, including CRM, sales automation, and reporting tools; customise and configure CRM system to align with sales processes and business requirements; provide training and support to sales team members on the use of sales technology tools; design and manage sales compensation plans and incentive programs to motivate and reward sales team members; ensure alignment between sales compensation plans and business objectives; and monitor and analyse the effectiveness of sales compensation plans and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Project management and cross-functional collaboration: Help project manage the implementation of our operating model and venue GTM engine, including by collaborating closely with marketing, product, finance, and customer success teams to drive alignment and coordination; serve as a liaison between sales and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration; champion cross-functional initiatives to enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth.

What you’ll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or related roles, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of optimising sales processes, driving revenue growth, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
