This is an exciting opportunity for someone to come into a fast paced scale up environment and utilise skills to deliver against a People & Culture agenda designed to lift standards and raise the profile of Ordermentum. The right candidate will show energy, resilience and high levels of execution. This could be a great opportunity for someone who has experience within an HR Advisor/Co-ordinator role and is looking for the next opportunity to step up.

We are looking for a tenacious self-starter who is comfortable thinking outside the box, is not afraid to ask questions and is ambitious to support the business and its people. We are looking for someone who loves to learn, to look at best practice and has a system mindset with visions of scale. While there is responsibility for the traditional people operations components, the primary focus will be on systems, process and policy alongside numerous initiatives and ad hoc projects.

This role is suitable for those looking to explore part time arrangements or flexible working hours.

  • Maintain and continuously update our comprehensive policy library to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and alignment with company expectations
  • Take full ownership of the onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a seamless and engaging experience
  • Develop and deliver regular, data-driven reports to provide leadership with key insights into People & Culture metrics
  • Own a clear process for relevant legislation updates - how to communicate, when & how
  • Actively contribute to the delivery of initiatives as outlined by the Head of P&C to support the company’s strategic goals
  • Systems Mindset - bring a strategic mindset to our HR operations, focusing on scalable solutions and continual process improvement
  • Oversee the business's office needs, including inventory management and equipment procurement, ensuring a smooth and productive working environment

What you’ll have

  • Solid HR experience, ideally within a SaaS environment for at least 2-3 years
  • Comfortable with systems, tools & technology
  • Experience working in dynamic environments undergoing rapid growth and change.
  • A broad understanding of HR responsibilities, with the ability to operate within a commercial framework
  • Extremely competent levels of communication
  • Can balance the voice of the employee with the needs of the business
  • Ability to listen to the voice of employees while balancing the needs of the business, ensuring fair and practical solutions
  • Capable of working independently while knowing when to seek support and collaborate with the wider team

Behavioural Competencies and Personal Attributes

  • Energy and resilience in spades
  • How you do things is just as important as the work you’re doing
  • We are a small team and love seeing each other win so team attitude is a must
  • Positive, can-do attitude that inspires others
  • A lifelong ambition to learn and improve

What you get

  • Working with key leaders of an established scale-up with significant funding

  • Great office centrally located in Surry Hills surrounded by great cafes
  • Plus working in Food & Bev usually means lots of treats!
