Since launching in 2014, we’ve grown a massive network of ~45k of your favourite cafes, restaurants and bars (almost half the venues in the country!) ordering $1.5b+ a year from ~ 1000 local wholesale suppliers. In September 2023, we announced a new capital raise and our acquisition of the Foodbomb business to further extend our market-leading position.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives, identify opportunities to be solved by leveraging data assets
• Drive the technical implementation of our AI-powered features, integrating with various LLM models (like GPT-4, Claude, and others) to create innovative solutions
• Work with the Product team to prototype, test and build predictive models and agentic workflows for use in our production systems
• Productionise ML prototypes and make them available within our application

What you’ll have

• You have more than 5 years of Industry experience in the machine learning/software engineering role with a Product/SaaS company.
• Ability to communicate and influence change through technical expertise, knowledge and coaching is a must
• You are proficient in Python and SQL and have experience with common data science libraries such as Pytorch, XGBoost, Transformers, Pandas and Spark.
• Familiarity with the latest techniques for training, evaluating, or deploying LLMs in applied settings or at the foundation model layer. You have good intuitions about when to use techniques like prompting, chaining, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), etc.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
