Are you a highly motivated and experienced sales person with a deep passion for the food and beverage industry?

At Ordermentum, our purpose is to create a more sustainable food and beverage industry, by helping venues and suppliers trade smarter. Since launching in 2014, we’ve grown a massive network of 43k of your favourite cafes, restaurants and bars (almost half the venues in the country!) ordering $1.5b+ a year from over 900+ local, wholesale suppliers. In September 2023, we announced a new capital raise and our acquisition of the Foodbomb business to further extend our market-leading position.

We are searching for an experienced Sales professional (Perth or Adelaide) with a flair for consultative selling and a true desire to help transform businesses by offering the best in category platform solution. They will possess the passion, the drive and proven experience to increase Ordermentum’s market share, revenue and profitability across SME & strategic accounts. In this role, you will enjoy the leadership accountability of developing and executing your own strategic acquisition plans to grow Ordermentum’s SME account portfolio and deliver strong commercial outcomes for the organisation.

What you will do:

  • Meet and exceed Ordermentum’s SME account sales’ goals through owning and managing the entire SME account acquisition sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding kick off within your territory remit of WA & SA.
  • Work in conjunction with our Onboarding and Success Managers to onboard and ramp suppliers and as a team create life long partnerships delivering operational efficiency, financial health and growth for our suppliers.
  • Canvass key strategic players (Wholesalers, Distributors and industry groups) across our core and new emerging categories to develop robust pipelines
  • Work collaboratively with our Product Technology and Customer Service teams to scope effective integration solutions to meet the complex needs of your SME account customers
  • Be seen as a respected and trusted business partner as you build strong networks by attending industry events, trade shows and keeping abreast of industry trends, and have a deep understanding of your customers’ business challenges and opportunities
  • Develop annual SME account strategic acquisition plans and quarterly forecasts driven from the analysis of sales, customer and market data
  • Be the Supplier’s voice in all internal meetings, sharing key insights and emerging requirements with cross functional leads

You will have:

  • 5+ years experience in Mid-Key Account selling within the Hospitality industry
  • Sound knowledge of Saas solutions (desirable)
  • An entrepreneurial spirit for driving strong revenue growth and hitting and exceeding financial goals.
  • A flair in fostering effective working relationships, quickly building rapport and engagement amongst C level and cross functional leads to develop long-term trusted partnerships and deliver best in-class solutions to your customers
  • Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to identifying key challenges and finding solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with Product and technical teams to contribute to the creation of technical solutions to support complex processes and system integrations
  • Proficiency in CRM to accurately and consistently forecast sales activity in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking that enables you to use industry and supplier trends analysis to deliver business results and identify key sales opportunities
  • A genuine desire to support and collaborate with other team members and share insights and best practices
