Job Summary:
Regrow is hiring a Lead Solutions Engineer to partner with Account Executives to drive net new and expansion business for Regrow. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of customers’ needs and capabilities and will be responsible for leading strategic workshops to inform the solution design and technical scoping. The intended focus of this role is to support customers and corresponding Account Executives in the EMEA and North American market. This role will also be the external representative and internal GTM liaison to Product and Science organizations, relaying cutting-edge learnings and needs from the market. This will require driving collaboration across functions such as Product, Environmental Science, Data Science, Engineering, and Customer Success to align on a vision and timeline for success. Solutions Engineering at Regrow is a scaling function, and you would also contribute to helping to build and scale the culture, tools, and operations.
You may be building a regenerative agriculture strategy for a large European-based CPG company, working with Product to build the roadmap for entry into a new supply chain, and working with our Customer Success leader to increase the efficiency of onboarding new customers—all in the same day!

What you will do:

  • Develop expertise and understanding of Regrow and the market’s sustainability products
  • Engage, collaborate, and influence C-suite, VP, and director level executives at leading CPG and agribusiness organizations on how they can use Regrow’s solution to further their regenerative agriculture strategy
  • Deeply understand the customer’s challenges and key use cases and how they map to our products
  • Take a leadership posture and work cross-functionally to craft new solutions, provide deal visibility and engage in fast-paced learning/feedback into new partner goals so they can efficiently implement the right solutions
  • Partner closely with Product and technical teams to advance our roadmap for key solutions, leveraging insights from customer demand and priorities to actively shape our strategy.
  • Advocate internally for product features and improvements as the voice of the customer and market.
  • Act as a player / coach to teammates on Solutions Engineering, supporting more junior team members on more complex or ambiguous projectsIdentify, plan, and execute on cross-functional process improvement initiatives to further scale our GTM and internal culture, tools, and operations

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in roles such as enterprise software consulting, customer success, and/or solutions/sales engineering.
  • An understanding of rapidly evolving dynamics and solutions in the sustainability, carbon market, and/or regenerative agriculture space
  • You can “sell” sophisticated solutions and build out a strategic engagement with a customer, considering their and Regrow’s short-term and long-term goals.
  • Successful track record of building strategic narratives and business cases to influence customers
  • Familiarity with strategy, product, partnership development/BD, and product marketing functions at organizations where high-touch, long-term relationships are critical to the business’s success.
  • Experience in agribusiness and/or CPGs, or with globally distributed teams and organizations, is a plus.
