Job Description

Broker Account Executive, you play a critical role in building and maintaining
partnerships with brokers to drive sales and revenue growth for Shift. Your
success depends on your ability to establish trust, provide value, and deliver
results for both your company and your broker partners.

What you'll do:

  • Broker Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with brokers in support of the existing Business Development team and existing Broker clients.
  • Business Development: Actively prospect and activate existing broker partners to expand the company's reach and market share. This involves identifying potential opportunities, making sales pitches, and presenting Shift’s products.
  • Product Knowledge: Build a deep understanding of the company's products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate with brokers and address their clients' needs.
  • Training and Support: Provide training, education, and ongoing support to brokers to help them understand and effectively sell the company's products and services to their clients.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams and support staff to provide brokers with the resources, tools, and assistance they need to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the broker channel and the company's business.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as broker sales volume and conversion rates, to evaluate the effectiveness of broker partnerships and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with brokers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence brokers' decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the broker channel, including industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and generate reports.
