About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and well-spoken Equities Associate to join our team.

The successful candidate will be a specialist point of contact for Australian and US share trading customers. The will be responsible for handling a range of customer inquiries, providing information on equities, markets and Superhero products and services, as well as assisting customers with their account and transactional needs.

You will also build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to proactively drive member experience, and provide real-time feedback about customer needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with customers via phone, email, chat or other communication channels
  • Engage with customers with interest and empathy, communicating effectively to identify needs and resolve any concerns in a seamless customer/member experience, including the appropriate handling of customers in vulnerable circumstances
  • Assist customers with account-related transactions, equities related transactions and deposits and withdrawals
  • Provide factual information about Superhero's products, without providing financial advice
  • Resolve customer inquiries and escalate issues to the appropriate department as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

Required experience, qualifications and attributes

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with customers
  • Knowledge of securities, equity markets, financial products and services, as well as regulations and policies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and prioritise workload
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording information
  • RG146 qualified for securities - superannuation and life insurance a bonus
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
