About The Role
We’re looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our dynamic and fast paced custody team. The right person for this role is a passionate, novice or experienced investor, with an acute attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.

About The Role
We’re looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our dynamic and fast paced custody team. The right person for this role is a passionate, novice or experienced investor, with an acute attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a daily reconciliation of all trades, positions, cash, dividends, orders and stock transfers
- Identifying and assisting in the implementation of efficiencies and improvements of the service offering provided to our clients
- Maintain databases of upcoming corporate actions
- Analyse corporate action documents such as scheme booklets and takeover statements to determine taxation implications and processing requirements
- Corporate actions processing, including communicating upcoming corporate actions to clients, maintaining client holdings and liaising with registry’s
- Processing of equity transfers and liaising with internal teams of counterparties to resolve any issue
- Maintain withholding taxes on securities
- Maintain and update procedure manuals
- Maintain databases of available investments on the platform
- Add new securities to the database, ensuring pricing and corporate action history is correct.
- Must have a minimum 2 years experience at a custodian or similar, with a background specifically in corporate actions and reconciliations
- Tech savvy with strong skills in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Excel and other common cloud-based software.
- Ability to use VBA and/or Javascript is preferable.
- Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications and/or be RG146 compliant
- A meticulous attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and to a high standard
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, perform under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
- Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot an issue before escalating it, and to negotiate resolutions to complex issues and define project scope
- Excellent communication skills, in-person and online, via email, phone and digital apps, combined with effective listening skills
- Ability to take the initiative and take appropriate actions independently
- Comfortable working in an agile environment, adopting a consultative and cooperative approach to your work
- A desire to learn new skills and develop themselves
