About The Role

In this role as a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll play a key part in shaping our member engagement by developing an effective, user-friendly interface.

We're looking for someone who's genuinely enthusiastic about frontend development and can confidently implement new features. The ideal candidate should have a sharp focus on details and be comfortable working independently. If you have an interest in the financial or investing sector, that's a great addition, but it's not essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on development, testing and maintenance.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient front-end code. Implement new features and functionalities in accordance with project requirements and timelines.
• Building responsive and adaptive layouts by ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
• Researching, analysing and developing reusable code and libraries for better speed and scalability.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers and Backend engineers.
• Working within systems limitations to deliver outcomes.
• Participating in stand-ups, design review meetings, and other data-driven decision-making processes.
• Providing feedback to product teams on continuous improvement across web application design and development.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Agile and Scrum Expertise: Proven experience working in a product role in an Agile/Scrum environment, and demonstrated ability to create and manage product backlogs, user stories, and sprint planning.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, including business, engineering, and UX/UI teams. Proven ability to gather and prioritise business requirements from multiple stakeholders. Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and balancing conflicting priorities.
• Technical Understanding: A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience in collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure product feasibility and execution.
• End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated experience in managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing iterations.
• Experience in Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA. Proven track record of delivering collaborative outcomes in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Strong communication skills to clearly articulate product goals and strategies. Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to deliver on the product vision.
• Experience with Product Management Tools: Hands-on experience with product management tools like JIRA and Confluence for managing backlogs, roadmaps, and sprints.
