Looking to join an established and profitable startup? This is an opportunity to be part of an early stage business and be the Country Lead for Australia.

Introducing UpMove, a marketplace and booking platform that connects people needing moving services with trusted local moving companies, saving them money in the process. We have built strong foundations with SEO, product/ market fit and a profitable business model. We are now looking for someone to drive the business forward.

You must be driven, proactive, entrepreneurially-minded and has experience in starting or growing early stage companies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Finding and developing partnerships with other businesses
  • Sourcing paid and organic PR opportunities
  • Recruiting and onboarding moving companies onto the platform
  • Day-to-day running of the local operation
  • Managing local freelancers and contractors

Who we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years hands-on experience in starting or growing an early stage company, ideally in the tech/ online space
  • Experience in marketing or partnerships
  • A proactive thinker and doer, this is not a set job description, we expect you to take initiative, explore new routes and opportunities to grow the business
  • Worked in and understands the Australian market
  • Enjoys the excitement and fast pace environment of a startup
